Julie Baird Named to “Top 20 Under 40” By Commercial Real Estate Women Network

SANTA ANA, Calif., Nov. 16, 2009 – First American Exchange Company, LLC
, a member of The First American Corporation (NYSE: FAF) family of companies, announced today that Julie Baird was recently named to the “Top 20 Under 40” by the Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Network. The award, which honors the top 20 women in commercial real estate, was presented during the 2009 CREW Network Convention and Marketplace held in Boston in October.


            Recipients were selected from among 120 nominees across North America
based on their established success in the field, commitment to the industry and demonstrated leadership.

            Baird, who serves as national counsel for First American Exchange, currently oversees the Northern California Reverse Exchange Department. Prior to joining First American in 2006, she was in private practice in San Francisco
. Baird received her juris doctor from the University of California, Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law, and her B.B.A. from the University of San Diego.
